Gianna Gallina
Loan Officer – Apex, NC
Gianna is our newest Loan Officer, but she is no stranger to the GoPrime family. She began working for GoPrime as a Processing Assistant in September 2020 with the goal of one day becoming a Loan Officer. She obtained her LO License in June 2021! Gianna grew up in the Real Estate world with her mom, sister, and brother all being Real Estate Agents in the Raleigh Triangle area. She started as her mom’s assistant while she was still in school and fell in love with the real estate world. Unlike her family, Gianna was extremely interested in the mortgage side of the transaction. She loved the idea of being able to help buyers purchase the home of their dreams. The accomplishment that she is most proud of is passing her exam and obtaining her Loan Officer License as it has been her goal since coming to GoPrime. Outside of work, Gianna loves spending time with her family. They are all constantly hanging out and have weekly family dinners. They attend many sports games and concerts together, but when they are not at one of those events, you can find them on the golf course having some extremely competitive matches!
Chandley King
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Chandley is our new Digital Marketing Coordinator! She was looking for a change of scenery in her career and had an interview with another mortgage company on the books. However, our recruiter, Chris Fisher, got to her in the nick of time. He guided her through a total of three interviews and got her an official offer all before the day of her other interview came around. She was so impressed and loved everyone that she met and was no longer interested in the other company. She cancelled her interview, accepted the offer from GoPrime, and the rest is history. Chandley got involved in the mortgage industry when she was still in college. She was waiting tables at a restaurant in her home town when the Chief Marketing Officer of a local bank sat in her section. They struck up a conversation and he offered her an internship. After she interned for three months, there were no open full time positions available at the bank. They decided that they couldn’t let her go, so they created a position for her in their mortgage department. Her favorite part about what she does is design work. She loves seeing her projects come together successfully! Chandley strives to make her community a better place by smiling at everyone she passes. She has also done some volunteer work in the past. After she puts her kids to bed, she likes to relax by watching a show before she goes to bed. Her favorite quote is actually a Bible verse: “Whatever you do, do it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men,” Colossians 3:23.
Joey Mitchell
Loan Officer Assistant
Joey is our newest Loan Officer Assistant! He got his start in the mortgage industry through working in real estate with his family. He always liked the technical mortgage side of the transaction. He came to GoPrime when Christopher Murray and Brian Morris of our Raleigh, NC branch recruited him to help grow their team. Joey’s favorite part of his job is collaborating with the Raleigh team to help borrowers have an enjoyable and rewarding mortgage experience. When away from the office, you can find Joey relaxing by enjoying a cigar, grilling, or playing cards. Joey strives to make his community better by creating connections between young entrepreneurs to help them grow and develop their businesses. His favorite quote is, “Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions,” which was said by the Dalai Lama.
Empress Smith
Compliance Licensing Specialist
Empress is our newest Compliance Licensing Specialist! She got her start in the mortgage industry over a decade ago. At that point in time, she was the owner of a UPS franchise. She had a variety of customers at that franchise, but there was one who was a builder. One day, he came into the store and struck up a conversation with her. He asked her if she would be interested in a property management business. She was extremely interested and took him up on the offer. That decision jump-started her career in the mortgage industry. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing the approvals from processing licenses as it gives her a sense of accomplishment. When away from the office, you can often find Empress out horseback riding or taking a walk in the park. Her kids often come home from school expressing concern for their friends and classmates that are less fortunate. So, to make her community a better place, they go shopping together twice a month for new clothes, shoes, and school supplies for those kids. They also sponsor kids in the school around Christmas time. Her favorite quote is from Denzel Washington. He said, “At the end of the day, it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished. It’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.”
