Jakilyn Otero Awarded Q1 2022 GoPrime Personality!

When you become the “go-to” person on a team, it’s because you have continuously shown care, support, and a drive to understand the material your colleagues. Respect is not given but earned – and she earned it!
Meet Jakilyn Otero, Processing Assistant Team Lead and our GoPrime Personality for the last quarter! Jakilyn was chosen for this award because of her eagerness to learn, and in doing so, she arms her team with the knowledge to succeed. Her passion is in assisting anyone that needs help. If she doesn’t know the answers, she’s quick to direct them to the correct person. Jakilyn recently helped the Processing team in a huge way when the Processing Assistant team needed a specific training. Instead of getting them all on a video call to provide them the information that was only available in the training, she took it upon herself to create a PowerPoint presentation to make sure they had proper materials to reference as needed. It may seem small, but the extra effort to help other teammates is a quality that sets her apart. We’re happy to have Jakilyn on our GoPrime team and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and trying new things.
She is also a talented nail artist and provides happy clients with unique custom nail designs!
Thrilled to win the award, she said, “I love the growth opportunity and the freedom of being allowed to create a workflow that works for you personally so that you can be successful. It’s also really refreshing to work with a manager who hears you, guides you when needed, and allows you the freedom to own your work and be the leader you want and need to be to be in a way your team needs.” Each quarter the GoPrime Personality award winner is awarded $500 to donate to charity of their choice. Jakilyn has chosen to donate to the Make a Wish Foundation in Illinois.
