Duc Banh-Do Awarded Q4 2022 GoPrime Personality!

GoPrime Mortgage is proud to announce Duc Banh-Do as our Employee of the Quarter! Duc is an outstanding Underwriter who has been with our company for several years. In this role, Duc is responsible for analyzing credit risk by reviewing borrowers’ credit, income, debts, and assets. Duc is a shining star on the underwriting team at GoPrime. Her coworkers all agree that she is an integral part of the team, and the heart and soul of the department.

Since the retirement of team leader, Phil Wagner, Duc has stepped into the unofficial role of manager seamlessly. She is the team’s sympathetic ear and go-to person when they have a question about a loan file. She also assigns files to the team and handles the challenging ones or applications involving new programs to help teach her colleagues how to handle these in the future. Despite the current trying times in the mortgage industry, Duc has navigated the turbulence with a steady resolve. She is always willing to go the extra mile for anyone and is always cheerful and pleasant, even under stress. Her coworkers say they can’t recall a day when she wasn’t smiling and pleasant, no matter the circumstances.

Duc truly is an inspiration to everyone at GoPrime and a testament to the impact one person can have on a team.

Outside of work, Duc has a passion for cooking and experimenting with new foods and recipes. She also loves spending time with her family and going on family vacations with her sons. Duc is a generous individual who supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has chosen this charity to receive $500. She selected this charity because they provide not only financial help but comfort to families in difficult times and lifesaving care for the children.

Duc has received some great advice over the years, and she credits her former boss for imparting the best advice she has ever received. Her mentor advised her to be generous with herself and not be afraid of making mistakes. She taught her to always do what is right, not what is easy.

One of the things Duc likes most about GoPrime is the family-oriented atmosphere. Duc is proud to be part of a team that works together towards one goal – helping people achieve homeownership.

Duc has a favorite quote from Abraham Lincoln that she lives by. The quote says, “I do not like that man; I must get to know him better.” Duc believes that it’s important to never judge a book by its cover, and that getting to know someone better can change your opinion of them.
