Caitlyn Terwey Awarded Q2 2021 GoPrime Personality!

Congratulations to Caitlyn Terwey, our GoPrime Personality for the quarter! Caitlyn is our Post Closing Team Leader based in Apex, NC. She can be best described as hard-working, thoughtful, and meticulous. A person with an outstanding eye for quality and improvement, we can always trust Caitlyn to provide suggestions on better practices and advice on tasks.

She consistently performs at a high level is always ready and happy to help. A coworker commented, “Caitlyn has always gone above and beyond with teaching and helping anywhere in this department. There is lot that goes on in Post Closing to be sure all is done correctly at the end of the loan process for GoPrime, and she helps ensure we stay thorough.  Caitlyn definitely deserves to be nominated.”

Caitlyn has chosen to donate her $500 to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of her grandfather.

Tell me about your job?
I work with my team to ensure closed loans are delivered to the correct investor and conditions are cleared in a timely manner so we can get loans sold as quickly as possible. We also work with FHA, VA and USDA to make sure all loans are insured.

What things do you enjoy doing outside of Mortgage Industry?
When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy baking and watching crime TV. I’ve enjoyed baking long before the pandemic 😊. I also enjoy drawing and painting on occasion.

Which charity did you choose? Why did you choose this charity?
I chose to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association. I lost my grandfather to dementia in 2019, so I saw firsthand the effect this disease has on, not only the individual, but the family as well.

What’s the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to never be the smartest person in the room. I want to be able to be able to continuously learn from others – Whether that’s learned from past mistakes they’ve made, why they believe what they do or their overall perspective on life. I need to always keep an open mind because nobody knows how it feels to walk in somebody else’s shoes.

What do you like most about GoPrime?
My favorite thing about GoPrime is the family-like atmosphere. I know I can pick up the phone and call anybody if I need help or clarification on anything.
