Located in Roseburg’s beautiful Fir Grove park, the Annual Summer Arts Festival celebrates the Land of Umpqua’s abundant creative talent and attracts thousands of visitors each day they are open. Over 130 local and regional artists gather and demonstrate their skills, while patrons enjoy music, dancing, a food court, and offerings of local craft beers and wine.
Roseburg’s first Graffiti Night Cruise took off in 1982. Richard Dickman had the idea that it might be fun to relive the 1950s with a cruise down Harvard, which drew the attention of several other car clubs to join. Over the years, what was once a singular event has grown to 22 separate annual events! Graffiti Weekend is a unique festival, as the events take place in various locations throughout Roseburg. Most are free to attend, and nearly all of them are designed to be family friendly.
Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights
This festival is a popular annual tradition in Roseburg, drawing more than 25,000 visitors per year and generating hundreds of thousands of dollars for Rotary Club scholarships and projects since 1993. Visitors are invited to enjoy 90 light displays containing nearly 500,000 lights. Along with these comes all the traditional attractions that have made the Festival famous, including the Holiday Village, wagon rides, the World’s Largest Nutcracker, and visits from Santa Claus himself!
This Roseburg tradition brings free concerts to the community every year. They feature high quality artists who would normally perform at distant venues for a substantial admission fee and bring them to an accessible avenue for all to enjoy. Join your neighbors on Tuesday evenings at Stewart Park to enjoy the music, socialize, eat dinner on the lawn, and experience the great community you are a part of.
