We are thrilled to announce Robert Harvey, or Robby, as he is known around the company, as our next recipient of the GoPrime Personality Award.
Robby always has the right outlook and has an impeccable willingness to help anyone he can, truly personifying our culture and mission to help our clients find a path home.
“Robby treats his teammates with a high level of respect and is always willing to help with a quick question. Not everyone understands how VALUABLE just a quick answer can really be to us on the sales side of things, but Robby, I believe, is always willing and able to go the extra mile and provides fantastic customer service. Robby treats his coworkers as his “customers” – something we should all do for each other more often. He is more than deserving of this recognition and award,” stated a coworker that nominated Robby.
What do you like doing outside of work?
“These days I like watching the inside walls of my house. The rooms have different colors which is a nice touch. But truthfully, spending time with my family is the most precious thing. I have two children at the ages of 16 and 11 and I love watching them grow up.”
What is the best advice you have ever received?
“Being right is overrated. A quarter of the way through my career, I learned this lesson and it helped me avoid a lot of conflict and develop understanding.”
What do you like most about GoPrime?
“I enjoy working with people—the loan officers, the processors, my peers. I love seeing families that are new homeowners and how that changes their lives. I love our philosophy. We are a team and it is clear to see that we work together. The culture is like no other. It feels like family.”
Do you have a favorite quote?
“‘Teamwork makes the dream work.’ It is applied through the company from up, down, left and right. We all work together. Every person is essential to our success. I heard that on the football team in high school and it has carried through my life to now.”
Why did you choose this charity?
“The whole family decided to choose ‘The Cradle’ because they connect kids to a loving home. My youngest son is adopted and going through that process, even 12 years ago, it was eye opening to see how many kids need a good loving home.”
The Cradle’s mission is to:
Build families through adoption. Support families through life’s challenges. Strengthen communities through education.
